Rick Comley Remembers His Mentor Ron Mason
Ron Mason hand-picked Rick Comley to replace him at the helm of Michigan State hockey. And even when the Spartan icers struggled, which was something they were unaccustomed to under him, Mason remained supportive of his successor.
Mason died early Monday from a heart attack. He was 76.
