The PGA Tour announced on Monday that the Rocket Mortgage Classic, played in June at the Detroit Golf Club, will move up a month and be played at the end of May next year.

The change is part of major schedule changes for the 2019-20 season, largely because of the Olympic golf tournament being played in Japan next year as part of the Summer Olympics.

This year's inaugural playing of the Rocket Mortgage Classic was won by American Nate Lashley (pictured above), his first-ever PGA Tour victory.
