ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting on Monday afternoon that the Detroit Pistons and team President of Basketball Operations/Head Coach Stan Van Gundy (pictured) have separated their relationship.

Van Gundy leaves after four seasons at the helm in the Motor City.  He led the team to the NBA Playoffs in 2016 but missed the postseason the last two years.  The team still owes Van Gundy $7 million for the final year of his contract.
