Report: NFL 2017 Salary Cap To Be $167 Million

Media outlets are reporting that the salary cap for the 2017 National Football League season will be at $167 million.

That is an increase of around $12 million over the 2016 season.  This is the 24th season of the salary cap era in the NFL.  The original salary cap in 1994 was $34.6 million.
