The Wisconsin State Journal is reporting that the Michigan State football program has hired Wisconsin Director of Player Personnel Saeed Khalif to the same position at MSU.

Khalif replaces Scott Aligo at MSU, who left for Kansas earlier this offseason.  He has been at Wisconsin for the last four years.  And he helped the Badgers to a Rose Bowl appearance after the 2019 season (lost to Oregon).

He was previously at Georgia Tech (Khalif's alma mater) for five seasons previous to heading to Wisconsin.

Michigan State (under second-year head coach Mel Tucker, pictured above) is looking to improve on a 2-5 season in 2020, where they lost to Ohio State and Indiana at home.  But defeated Michigan and Big Ten West Division representative Northwestern for their only victories of the year.

MSU will open the 2021 season at Northwestern on September 3rd.
