Report: Lochte, Fellow Swimmers Lied
Brazilian police are saying that U.S. gold medal swimmer Ryan Lochte and three of his American Olympic teammates made up the story about them being robbed by criminals posing as police officers over this past weekend.
Multiple media outlets are reporting that Lochte concocted the robbery story to cover up a brawl that occurred over the weekend involving the four athletes and a security guard
Police say that they have video showing the brawl at a gas station in Rio. The U.S. Olympic Committee has urged the athletes to fully cooperate with authorities.
