Report: Lions Agree To Deal With WR Amendola
Multiple media outlets are reporting that the Detroit Lions have agreed to a one-year deal with veteran wide receiver Danny Amendola (pictured).
The former Miami Dolphin and New England Patriot gets reunited with Matt Patricia and Bob Quinn, who he was with when he was a Patriot (2013-2017). Amendola began his career with the St. Louis (now Los Angeles) Rams in 2009.
The deal is reportedly worth $5.75 million. Amendola is expected to fill the slot receiver position for the offense.
The deal won't be official until Wednesday afternoon, when the free agency signing period and the new league year begins.
