Report: Jimbo Fisher Resigns At FSU For Texas A & M
Multiple media outlets are reporting that Florida State head football coach Jimbo Fisher (pictured) has resigned his position to take the same position with Texas A & M University on Friday afternoon.
Fisher led the Florida State Seminoles to the national championship after the 2013 season, and took them to the first College Football Playoff in 2014. He replaced the legendary Bobby Bowden in Tallahassee in 2010.
Fisher will not coach in Florida State's final regular season game on Saturday against Louisiana-Monroe. Assistant Odell Haggans will coach the team instead.
