A press conference is scheduled for Tuesday afternoon to announce charges of fraud, bribery, and corruption against four current college basketball assistant coaches and others, according to multiple media outlets.

The coaches were arrested late Monday night according to the report.  Among the allegations are coaches taking bribes from a prominent shoe company (reportedly adidas) to influence recruits to attend a university sponsored by that shoe company.  And then to have that recruit, once he decides to turn professional, to wear that shoe company's product(s).

The charges are at the federal level as the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is involved.
