The Associated Press and MLive are reporting that former Saginaw HS and Michigan State basketball great and current Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green (pictured) has tested positive for COVID-19.

Green, who was the Warriors 2nd round draft pick in 2012, has been a part of three NBA title teams in the Bay Area (2015, 2017, 2018).  He did not attend the opening day of training camp for the 2020-21 season yesterday in San Francisco.

Under NBA COVID-19 protocols, Green now must be out for the next ten days before he can rejoin the team.

Green led Saginaw High School to two Class A state titles in 2007 and 2008.  He then helped MSU to a pair of Final Four appearances during his time in East Lansing (2009 and 2010).
