ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that the Cleveland Browns have fired head coach Hue Jackson (pictured) after 2+ seasons at the helm.

The Browns were 3-36-1 under Jackson since the start of the 2016 season.  They became only the second team in NFL history to 0-16 in a season when they did so in 2017.  Jackson had been the head coach of the Oakland Raiders and an assistant coach with the Cincinnati Bengals before coming to Cleveland.

The Browns are 2-5-1 on the season after losing on Sunday at the Pittsburgh Steelers 33-18.  The team has not named an interim replacement as of Monday morning.
