Report: 2020 WMU-CMU FBall Game @ Ford Field

A Wednesday afternoon press conference has been called, where it is expected to be announced that the 2020 Western Michigan at Central Michigan football game will be played at Detroit's Ford Field.

The Detroit Free Press is reporting that the reason for the game being moved is an attempt to reverse a recent trend of declining enrollment at both schools.  Both schools have strong alumni bases in the Detroit area.

The 2020 edition of the in-state rivalry will be the 91st meeting.  Western Michigan holds the overall lead 50-38-2.
