The Detroit Red Wings completed their regular season with a 3-0 win over the St. Louis Blues Sunday afternoon at Scottrade Center.

Detroit (39-28-15) was led by Michigan State alum Justin Abdelkader  who scored twice and Riley Sheahan completed the scoring with his goal in the second period. Petr Mrazek earned his second career shutout in goal stopping 23 shots.

Ryan Miller, another MSU alum, made 18 saves in goal for St. Louis (52-23-7).

The Red Wings are now off until Friday when they begin the Stanley Cup Playoffs in Boston for a first-round matchup with the Bruins.
