The Detroit Red Wings saw their two game winning streak come to an end as they fell to the Boston Bruins 5-2 at the TD Garden on Monday night.

Bees forward Carl Soderberg had a goal and two assists.  Goalie Tuukka Rask stopped 28 Wings shots.

Detroit's goalscorers were Justin Abdelkader and Tomas Tatar.  The Wings host New Jersey on Wednesday night in the traditional New Year's Eve game at Joe Louis Arena.  Coverage begins at 7:10 with Ken Kal and Paul Woods on The Game 730 AM WVFN.
