The Detroit Lions lost in the last minute to the Oakland Raiders tonight, 27-26. The Lions got on the board in the 1st quarter when QB Matthew Stafford made a 28 yard pass to Golden Tate for a touchdown. Late in the 1st, Stafford threw a short pass to Kris Durham for another touchdown with Nate Freese making the extra point, for a score of 13-0 going into the second. The Raiders got on the board in the 2nd quarter, when running back Darren McFadden made a one yard touchdown, the extra point being scored by Sebastian Janikowski. Janikowski would go on to kick a 26 yard field goal. Freese fights back with a 55 yard field goal of his own, giving the Lions a 6 point lead going into halftime. In the 3rd, Running back George Winn made a 1 yard touchdown, with Georgio Trevecchio making the extra point. The Raiders still had fight in them when Derek Carr made a pass to Jake Murphy for a touchdown, with the extra point being made by Janikowski. Things started to get suspenseful in the 4th after a 36 yard field goal kicked by Janikowski brought the Raiders within 3. Trevecchio was able to make a field goal to widen the gap by 6 points. With 16 seconds to go in the game, Matt McGloin made a pass to Brice Butler for the game ending touchdown. Dan Orlovsky led the game for passing, making 153 yards. Kory Sheets led the game in rushing for 28 yards, and Butler led in receiving for 74 yards.
