It's a big CAAC Blue matchup tonight as the 6-1 East Lansing Trojans visit the 4-3 Holt Rams.  The winner of this game will clinch a share of the CAAC Blue championship as East Lansing is 4-0 in league play while Holt is 4-1 in the league.

The Trojans are rated No. 7 in this week's Associated Press Division 2 poll.  They are led by senior QB Dalen Adams, who threw two touchdown passes in EL's 41-6 win over Waverly last week.  And sophomore Jace Clarizio has stepped forward to become a major cog in this year's Trojan machine.

As for Holt, they started the season at 0-2.  But have won four of their last five games to get into contention in league play, as well as being in contention for a playoff berth in Division 1.  They started the turnaround in Week 3 by upsetting arch-rival Grand Ledge on the road 14-6.

The Rams are led by senior QB Seneca Moore and running backs Bryce Cornelius and Isaiah Foster.

As far as playoff positioning is concerned, East Lansing is ranked 11th in Division 2 playoff points.  While Holt is rated 26th in Division 1.  The top 32 teams in each of the eight divisions make the playoffs.  The top 16 in each of the two divisions in 8-Player football make the playoffs as well.
