Predictions for Lansing-Area High School Football in Week 2

The biggest loss for me last week...well, they're were two.  Mason surprised me with a huge 56-30 win on the road at Okemos.  That's a statement win for the Bulldogs.

The other one was Owosso's 40-3 home loss to Corunna.  The Trojans haven't been the same since the death of former coach Tom Harkema.

As far as this week, I think Sexton will rebound from their disappointing loss to Detroit Renaissance last week.  I also like Waverly to beat improving Eastern.  And Lansing Catholic will rebound against Detroit Community.  And Mason will go to 2-0, with their terrific offense, against a tough Eaton Rapids squad.
