Pistons Trade Meeks To Magic

Yahoo Sports' The Vertical is reporting that the Detroit Pistons have traded shooting guard Jodie Meeks to the Orlando Magic for a future 2nd round draft pick.

Meeks has been beset by injuries since he joined Detroit two years ago on a three-year, $20 million deal.  He played in only three contests after suffering a foot injury early in the campaign this past season.

This deal clears more than $6 million of salary cap room of the Pistons books for this coming season.
