Pistons Buy G League Team From Arizona

On Wednesday, the Detroit Pistons announced that they have purchased the G-League Northern Arizona Suns from the NBA's Phoenix Suns.  And they will move the team from Arizona to the Detroit area for the 2021-22 season.

Wayne State University is building a new basketball arena currently, and it is expected the new team will play in that arena.

It is unclear as to what will happen to the Pistons current G-League team, the Grand Rapids Drive.
