The PGA Tour announced on Wednesday that the Tour is moving the World Golf Championship-Cadillac Championship from the famed Trump Doral GC in Miami, Florida to Mexico City for 2017.

The tournament at Doral has been played in south Florida for more than half a century.

The Tour cited the fact that Cadillac did not renew their sponsorship for the Doral for 2017, as the reason for the change of scenery.

Donald Trump, the almost certain Republican nominee for President of the United States this year, bought the club in 2012.
