PGA OF America Cancels Senior PGA Championship

Tournament officials are confirming on Thursday morning, that the annual KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship, set for late May in Benton Harbor, has been canceled due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Local officials had thought about rescheduling the tournament to a later date, but decided against that.  The Senior PGA Championship will return to Harbor Shores Golf Clubs in 2022 and 2024.

The PGA Tour's Rocket Mortgage, set for the Detroit Golf Club from May 28-31st in Detroit, is still on at this time.  But all PGA Tour events through mid-May's PGA Championship have either been postponed or canceled.
