One Armed Golfer Aces Hole @ PGA Tour Stop
At this week's PGA Tour stop in California (The American Express tournament, which is a pro-am event), Canadian amateur Laurent Hurtubise aced the par-3 4th hole at PGA West Stadium course on Thursday.
That's not the biggest story of the day, but when you consider that Hurtubise was born with one arm, then it is "kind of a big deal".
Hurtubise, who's swings left-handed, was playing in a group including veteran PGA Tour players Troy Merritt and Greg Chalmers. He played in this event two years ago, and carded a 6-over par 78.
Laurent was born without a right hand and elbow. And he has played golf since he was 11 years old.
