Ohio State star Braxton Miller reportedly aggravated his previously injured throwing shoulder on Monday.

ESPN reports the Heisman Trophy contender was taken off the practice field under medical supervision, just hours after declaring himself 100 percent healthy. Ohio State had been handling Miller delicately since he had surgery on his right shoulder in February.

Miller passed for more than 2,000 yards and 24 touchdowns to just seven interceptions last season. He also ran for almost 1,100 yards and 12 more touchdowns.

Ohio State is ranked No. 5 in the preseason AP poll.
