Veteran University of Alabama head football coach Nick Saban (pictured above) has tested positive for COVID-19, according to the Tuscaloosa (Ala.) News.

Because of this diagnosis, Saban will not coach the top-ranked Crimson Tide against Auburn in the "Iron Bowl" this Saturday in Tuscaloosa.

You may remember that Saban reportedly tested positive for the coronavirus the week of the Georgia game, but that turned out to be a false positive.  He ended up on the sidelines for that contest.

The former Michigan State, Toledo, LSU, and Miami Dolphins head coach has been at Alabama since 2008.  He's coached the Tide to five national titles since 2009.

Offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian will coach the Tide on Saturday against Auburn.
