The NFL is suspending Armonty Bryant three games for violating the league's substance abuse policy according Jeremy Bergman of NFL.com.

The NFL says the suspension is from a 2015 incident where he was arrested last December and pleaded guilty in July to a charge of attempted drug possession. When he was arrested, he was charged with felony drug possession since Adderall and oxycodone were found in the vehicle he was in.

Bryant started the season serving a four-game suspension for performance-enhancing substances and was released by the Cleveland Browns once it was served. He started to heat up recording three sacks in four games which made gave him the team's third-highest sack total.

Bryant can return to the field on week 13 against the New Orleans Saints.
