On a wet and cold night in East Lansing, Michigan State (10/10) was victorious 27-22 against Nebraska (19/17) to improve to 4-1, 1-0 on the season.  Michigan State was led by wide receiver Tony Lippett who ended the game with 104 yards on 3 catches and 1 touchdown.  He also had a 32 yard touchdown on the ground.  Quarterback Connor Cook had an ok game going 11/29 for 234 yards and 1 touchdown and 1 interceptions.  Jeremy Langford had a few big runs and was able to break 100 yards for the 2nd straight week. He finished with 111 yards on 29 carries with 1 touchdown. The Spartans defense stood tall as they held Nebraska star running back Ameer Abdullah to 45 yards on 24 carries.  But, he scored 2 touchdowns for Nebraska.  For Nebraska, quarterback Tommy Armstrong Jr. went 20/43 for 273 yards but he threw 2 interceptions including one with 30 seconds left in the game, which sealed the loss for Nebraska.  His main target was Jordan Westerkamp who had 9 catches for 158 yards.  Nebraska falls to 5-1, 1-1 on the year and will travel to Evanston to take on Northwestern.  Michigan State will travel to Purdue next week for a 3:30 kickoff.  You can hear the MSU game on Lansing's Classic Rock 94.9 WMMQ and Lansing's Big Talker AM 1240 WJIM.
