Ndamukong Suh's contract with the Lions officially expired on Friday, and it appears he's already thinking beyond Detroit.

Bleacher Report's Jason Cole reports Suh wants to signs with the Seattle Seahawks. That would make sense for Suh for a couple of reasons: 1. He's a native of the Pacific Northwest. 2. He's a dominant defensive force, and the Seahawks' defense is arguably one of the best in recent years.

But is it feasible?

The Seahawks have about $20 million in cap room, and that's without re-signing free agents Byron Maxwell and Jermaine Kearse, as well as their incoming draft class. But perhaps most importantly of all, Russell Wilson's contract is up after next season, and the Seahawks will most certainly want to lock him up long term.

Suh figures to command serious money, like the seven-year, $98 million defensive tackle Gerald McCoy got from Tampa Bay earlier this season. Suh is the premier defensive free agent this season, but can Seattle afford him?
