Former Michigan State guard Joshua Langford (pictured) announced, via his Instagram page, that his basketball career is over.  And that he will not pursue a professional basketball career.

Here's his Instagram post:

Langford battled foot injuries throughout his career at Michigan State.  He missed nearly two years due to his injuries.  But he came back in his senior season (2020-21) to average 9.7 points/game and 3.6 rebounds/game.

The Huntsville, Alabama native was a co-captain his last two years in East Lansing.  He was a five-time Alabama player of the year (yes, he won that award as an eighth-grader).
