The Big Ten Conference announced on Tuesday morning that Michigan State's women's basketball team will play Maryland on Thursday afternoon in College Park, Maryland.

MSU's women are currently 9-2 overall, 4-2 in Big Ten play after last Sunday's road victory over Wisconsin.  The Lady Spartans were supposed to play Michigan this Thursday.  But that game was postponed due to U-M's 14-day pause ongoing because of the Covid-19 variant outbreak in Washtenaw County.

MSU lost to Maryland on January 7 93-87 for their first loss of the season.
