After one of the craziest opening weekends in college football the rankings are shaken up and a couple of college football playoff contenders were upset this past weekend. The dust has settled and the week two AP rankings are out.

The Big Ten is the most represented conference in the top-10 with three teams and Michigan is ranked in the top-5 for the first time since 2007. Two of the biggest jumps were Texas and Wisconsin who went from unranked to being ranked 11th, and 10th. The biggest surprise of the weekend was Houston upsetting the 3rd-ranked Oklahoma Sooners are jumping to 6th place. And after a lack luster performance against Furman, the Michigan State Spartans hold down the 12th spot.
