Michigan State third-year quarterback Payton Thorne (pictured) was named as the Big Ten Co-Offensive Player of the Week by the conference on Monday morning.

Thorne threw four touchdowns in MSU's 38-17 victory over Miami (Fla.) last Saturday afternoon.

Ohio State freshman running back TreVeyon Henderson shares the honor with Thorne.  Henderson ran for three TD's for the Buckeyes in their win over Tulsa last Saturday.

The 20th-ranked Spartans will face Big Ten foe Nebraska this coming Saturday night at Spartan Stadium.
