The MSU Spartans lost to the Nittany Lions of Penn State tonight, 5-2. Penn State got things started with an early goal in the 1st period when Casey Bailey scored 1 minute into the period. Spartans responded in kind when Villiam Haag scored soon after. In the 2nd, MSU took the lead when Mike Farrentino scored a goal, but towards the end of the second, Penn State tied everything up with a Nate Jansen goal, and took the lead with with a David Goodwin goal. In the 3rd, Penn State added onto their lead when Taylor Holstrom scored, followed by another Bailey goal to give them a 3 goal lead. Tune in next Friday when your MSU Sprtans take on Ohio State.
