Michigan State football updated their football roster on Tuesday.  And there are a couple of notable changes to it.

Sophomore WR Julian Barnett, who showed promise at that position in 2019, has moved to cornerback.  And punter Jack Bouwmeester, who was a candidate to replace outgoing punter Jake Hartbarger, is no longer on the roster.  Also, walk-on punter Bryce Baringer is back on the team.  He had been in the transfer portal.

A handful of seniors, who did have a fifth year available (including RB Noah Sargent), decided not to come back.

Barnett had 13 catches for 182 yards in 2019 as a freshman.
