MSU D-Linemen Evans, Sweat Leave Football Program
In a press release publicized on Monday night, Michigan State football coach Mark Dantonio announced that reserve defensive linemen Craig Evans and Montez Sweat have left the program for "personal reasons."
Evans and Sweat, both sophomores, were slated to be backups for the 2016 season. Both guys contributed to the team's College Football Playoff appearance last season.
