MSU Basketball Gets First 2021 Recruit

Four-star point guard Pierre Brooks II announced via his Twitter account that he has committed verbally to Michigan State University.

Brooks, who just finished his junior season at Detroit Douglass Academy, is the first verbal commit for head coach Tom Izzo for the class of 2021.

Brooks II had offers from Michigan and Xavier as well.  He 6-6 and just over 200 pounds.  He will be able to sign with the Spartans this November, when the early signing period begins.
