MSU Basketball Drops To 12th; U-M Up To 19th In AP Poll
The latest Associated Press college basketball poll was released on Monday afternoon. And with their loss Sunday night to Northwestern, Michigan State (head coach Tom Izzo pictured above) drops from number 4 to number 12.
Unbeaten Michigan moves up from 25th to 19th. Other Big Ten teams ranked this week are: Iowa (4th), Wisconsin (9th), Rutgers (11th), Illinois (18th), and Ohio State (23rd).
Other Big Ten teams receiving votes are: Indiana, Purdue, Northwestern, and Minnesota.
Undefeated Gonzaga remains number 1 after beating Iowa on Saturday, 99-88. Baylor and Kansas are 2nd and 3rd, respectively.
