West Bloomfield's Lance Dixon narrowed his list of possible colleges down to his final five, with Michigan State ranked among them.

In a Twitter post, the Class of 2019 recruit listed his top five options. All of them were Big Ten schools.

According to 247Sports, the outside linebacker has about a 50 percent chance of picking Michigan State. Penn State and the University of Michigan are respectively the second and third most likely destinations.

Wisconsin and Ohio State round out his top five picks out of the reported 27 offers.

247Sports does not list Michigan State among colleges Dixon has visited yet.

Dixon is listed as the 16th best outside linebacker in the country and fifth best in the state.

This past fall, Dixon's West Bloomfield team made it to the state championship game at Ford Field where they fell to 3-2 Clarkston in a defensive struggle.

Dixon is listed as a four star recruit and could do damage playing under Mike Tressel with the Spartans.
