Michigan State Football publicized new alternate helmets on Friday.  They feature the script "State" logo that you've seen on MSU basketball uniforms through the years.

Here's the tweet from Michigan State Football:

MSU was supposed to wear these helmets for the Maryland game(s) this past season.  But with the COVID-19 pandemic canceling those games, they couldn't be worn.  It is uncertain if they will be worn at any point in the 2021 season.

MSU has worn alternate helmets and uniforms before.  Remember, the bronze Spartan helmets?  Or this past season with "Gruff" Sparty or the Block "S" that former coach George Perles loved so much.

So, if State ever wears these helmets during a game, what would you think?
