Michigan forward Moe Wagner announced his plans to enter the 2018 NBA draft on Saturday in the Players Tribune.

“I’ve decided to sign with an agent and enter the 2018 NBA draft,” Wagner writes.

In three years at Michigan, Wagner averaged 10.4 points-per-game with a 54.7 shooting percentage.

During the 2017-18 season, Wagner averaged 14.6 points-per-game. He was also voted to the All-Big Ten Second Team.

Wagner led the Wolverines this past season to the final round of the NCAA Tournament before falling to the Villanova Wildcats.

In the Final Four round, Wagner led his team in scoring with 24 points and 6 rebounds against Loyola-Chicago.

“I’ll miss my teammates, for sure. Like, I can’t even tell you — all of the guys who have been there for me over the last few years,” Wagner says of his teammates in Ann Arbor.

In the piece, Wagner discusses a Nike poster of Dirk Nowitzki he has owned since 2011 when the Mavericks last won an NBA title.

Now, he will have his chance to play in the same league as the NBA legend.
