Miles Bridges Named to Pre-Season All-American Team
Mike DeCourcy of Sporting News released his preseason 2016-2017 men's basketball All-American class and Michigan State's Miles Bridges was featured on the first team.
Bridges was the 10th ranked recruit in the 2016 class according to rivals.com and he has definitely lived up to the hype.
The Flint native has been impressive for the Spartans in exhibition play averaging 26.5 points in two contests.
DeCourcy has high hopes for the freshmen: "It’s not often a freshman walks into the MSU program, shakes Tom Izzo’s hands and takes over the team. But the guys who might have gotten in his way are gone — some on schedule, Deyonta Davis too soon — and the Spartans will need Bridges to be great. Bridges is a powerful lefty who will shoot, drive and rebound."
