It didn't take long for some drama to come out of Spring Training for the Tigers.

The Detroit Tigers kicked their offensive slump in Grapefruit League play against the Houston Astros and their rookie pitcher Edison Frias, lighting him up for three straight home runs on Saturday.

Ian Kinsler, Victor Martinez and Tyler Collins all went yard when Miggy stepped up to the plate. He was hit on the forearm by a pitch that Frias claimed got away from him. Cabrera seemed to shrug off the incident which probably avoided any benches being cleared.

Frias said he "couldn't control any of his pitches" that day. After a walk, three straight homers and a hit batter you can probably take him at his word on that one.

The Tigers won the game over Houston 11-4.
