The boys basketball regular season is now complete.  And congratulations to East Lansing (CAAC Blue), Williamston (CAAC Red), Ionia (CAAC White), Olivet (GLAC), Pewamo-Westphalia (CMAC), Ovid-Elsie (Mid-Michigan Activities Conference), and Webberville (Genesee Area Blue) for winning their leagues outright this season.

And special congratulations to Williamston and Olivet for finishing 20-0 and 19-1 in the regular season, respectively.

The district tournament begins on Monday at eleven district sites around Mid-Michigan.  Some of the games on Monday include:  Grand Ledge vs. St. Johns, Everett vs. Mason, Charlotte vs. Eaton Rapids, Lansing Catholic vs. Sexton, Perry vs. Potterville, and Fulton vs. Lansing Christian.

Mid-Michigan High School Boys Basketball Top 10—3/8/22

Here's a look at the top 10 teams in the Lansing area in boys basketball.

We will have the Lansing Catholic at Sexton district opener on The Game 730 AM WVFN on Monday night.  Brock Palmbos and Erik "Doc" Love will have the call from Sexton HS at 6:45pm.

We will also have district doubleheader action on Wednesday, beginning at around 5:15 or so on WVFN (site to be determined).  And then on Friday night, we'll have a district championship game (site to be determined) starting with the pregame at 6:45.

And...The Game 730 AM WVFN is your home for the Michigan High School Girls and Boys Basketball Semifinals and Finals.  You will hear all the games (all 24 games) on our airwaves beginning with the girls semifinals and finals from the Breslin Center in East Lansing from March 17th-19th.  And then the following week, the boys semis and finals at the Breslin Center from March 24th-26th.

Our final boys poll will be posted after the state finals in late March.
