University of Michigan senior tight end Jake Butt has been named the John Mackey Award winner on Wednesday.  It is annually given to the nation's best tight end.

Butt returned to Ann Arbor for his senior season and became the school's all-time leader for receptions and yards receiving for a tight end.

Jake was a finalist for the award in 2015, losing out to Arkansas' Hunter Henry.
