Chris Solari of the Detroit Free Press is reporting that Michigan State Basketball big man Xavier Tillman will make himself eligible for this year's NBA Draft. Howver, Tillman will not sign with an agent, leaving the option to return to Michigan State open for next season.

Tillman was named the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year for the 2019-2020 season. He averaged almost 14 points per game, 10.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 2.1 blocks and 1.2 steals on the season. He was also named a second team Academic All-American, and was a second team All-Big Ten player.

What the lack of hiring an agent does for Tillman is it allows him to withdraw his name from draft eligibility if he feels he is not garnering the interest from NBA teams as a high-contract draft pick.
