Wednesday morning, MSU running back LJ scott was arrested for the seventh time on charges related to driving without a valid driver's license.

The Lansing State Journal's Christopher Haxel reported Scott was released earlier on bond. Scott, who has not been arraigned yet, could face up to a year-long sentence from these charges.

His potentially lengthy sentence stems from his prior convictions for similar charges. Each of his six prior arrests come within the last year.

Originally arrested for driving with a suspended license in February 2016,  Scott was arrested again in March, April and July of last year.Two more police stops followed in March and July of this year.

Three stops occurred in his home state of Ohio, three occurred in East Lansing.

None of the traffic stops have been substance related.

So far no official word has been given on the Scott's future with the MSU Football program or his legal situation.
