The Big Ten conference has agreed to a number of football game start times with its TV partners. Today, Michigan State released that four of their games now have official kickoff times.

Week 1 (August 31) v. Utah State 7 P.M. (BTN)
Week 2 (September 8) at Arizona State 10:45 P.M. (ESPN)
Week 6 (October 6) v. Northwestern 12:00 P.M. (No TV announced yet)
Week 7 (October 13) at Penn State 3:30/4:00 P.M (No TV announced yet)

Additionally, the October 20th game (week 8) against Michigan will be on either Fox or Fox Sports 1, time is still to be determined.

The Northwestern game is Michigan State's homecoming game on October 6.

Michigan State's road game at Arizona State will be their first trip to Tempe since 1986. The likely reason it was chosen as a night game (7:45 P.M. pacific time) is due to concerns over heat. September in Tempe features an average of high of 99 degrees. In other words put some coffee on to stay up come September.
