Ty Law was named to the Class of 2019 for the Football Hall Of Fame.  The Michigan great will also be an honorary captain for the Wolverines this fall.

According to the story from M-Live, the former Michigan All American will serve as an honorary captain for the Wolverines at their Homecoming game against Iowa on October 5th.

Law is also a three time Super Bowl Champion and is set to be enshrined in Canton, Ohio at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in August.

The cornerback recently accepted the invitation from Michigan Head Coach, Jim Harbaugh.  Ty Law joins other Michigan alums, Tom Brady, Charles Woodson and Chris Webber as honorary captains for football.

Michigan is set to start their 2019 season on Saturday, August 31st against Middle Tennessee.

The Big Ten schedule starts for the Wolverines on September 21st in Wisconsin against the Badgers.
