Zach McKinstry from Central and Sterling Sharp from Eastern will be making their major league debuts this week.

McKinstry, an infielder, as been added to the Los Angeles Dodgers active roster, while Sharp, a pitcher has been called up by the Miami Marlins.

McKinstry was drafted by the Dodgers in the 2016 draft, and played for the Great Lakes Loons in the Midwest League before moving up to the Double A Tulsa Drillers in 2018 and the Triple A Oklahoma City Dodgers last season.

He hit .300 last season between Tulsa and Oklahoma City with 19 home runs.

Sharp, meanwhile, is a Michigan product, having played his high school ball at North Farmington High School near Detroit. He's a 6-4 fireballer who transferred from Eastern to Drury College in 2016.

Sharp was in the Washington Nationals system until last year, when he was picked up by the Marlins.
