Michael Jordan and ‘The Last Dance’
Now that four segments of The Last Dance have aired, we are getting a good idea how intense and unbelievable Michael Jordan was. The Last Dance is about the historic era of the Michael Jordan-led Chicago Bulls. He is the greatest NBA player ever.
Michael Jordan was out of Wilmington, North Carolina. He attended North Carolina University and played for legendary coach Dean Smith. He won a National Championship as a true freshman with a jump shot that beat Georgetown at the buzzer. That’s how the legend of Michael Jordan began.
He blossomed into one of the best college players ever. Michael Jordan left the Tar Heels after his junior year under the advisement of Dean Smith. Jordan fell to the third pick in which the Chicago Bulls drafted him. That’s how he wound up in Chicago.
Right off the bat he made his presence known in the NBA and around the world. It took a while assembling a team that could compete for multiple NBA Crowns, but they achieved that. It took Detroit’s “Bad Boy” teams that won back-to-back championships to wake and shake Jordan up. The Detroit Pistons would physically beat him up in those Eastern Conference Finals.
So he worked his you-know-what off and they finally got over the hump versus those great Pistons teams. There are six more episodes left in The Last Dance. This is excellent and riveting how this team was put together with all their trials and tribulations. All I know is I can’t wait until next Sunday for the next two episodes and Michael Jordan is the G.O.A.T.
