Jarrett, who was a Police Corporal, was killed in the line of duty on October 28th this year during a traffic stop by a driver in a hit and run scenario.

The Detroit Police Department had been holding silent auctions to help supports Jarrett's family in this time of tragedy. Notable items included signed memorabilia from Henrik Zetterberg, JD Martinez and Matthew Stafford himself.

From the FOX2 Detroit report, Sacha Jarrett (widow of Myron said): "Matthew Stafford and his wife are so sweet and he's so down to earth. He's such a regular guy, I didn't know. He came to my home, he seemed like he was very comfortable there he communicated with my kids and I just appreciate what they did for my family this Christmas."

A great gesture from the face of the Detroit Lions franchise this holiday season.
